Draphoenix and the hunter

Long long ago, there was a powerful kingdom. The king has a son, which is his only son. They called him Draphoenix, because his eye blow likes phoenix tail, like fire on his eye, and all over his body covered with dragon skin. The king and the queen both loved him very much.

But one day the son got lost in the death Gorge. The king announced all over his kingdom: “ who finds my son, I will give him half of my kingdom.” A lot of brave warriors never made their way out when they got into the death Gorge.

King and queen were very disappointed and worried for their son. Just at this time, there was a man came running into the palace, and knocked down the guard.

“I can help find your son”, the man shouted.  This is a forest hunter; he has a bow and twenty arrows in his arrow pocket. On his waist, hanging a silver sword.

“ Can you really find my son? “ asked the king and queen anxiously.

“ Yes, I can,” said the hunter firmly.

“ How are you going to do it? All my warriors were never back. “ King questioned the hunter.

“This is a long story, my great great grandfather went to the death gorge before, and made it home successfully, he told his son, and his son told his son, now I know the secrete of death gorge. In the middle of death gorge, there is a huge hole, it is one million feet deep, if you fall inside, strangely you won’t die, the hole has powerful energy in the bottom like air cushion that you will not be hurt even if falling from high above. But if you touch the ground again, it is hard like rock. And somehow with that power around, you will not feel hungry or thirsty, but you cannot get out of the hole. There is a guard, all the energy come from him. The guard has twenty heads.

 It is like the time is frozen here. All over the gorge, there were many zombies, and if they see you, they will though you into the whole, and this are where your son is. “

“ How are you going to get in and get our son out then?” The king asked.

Hunter’s face changed to very serious expression. “ Do you know your favorite horse? “

“ You mean the blood sweat!!” surprised the king, “ but ------” The horse named blood sweat has the light red fur, and his tail shine like orange sun falling in the horizon lightening it’s surrounding place. When it runs, like wave, and the sweat is red like blood.  

“ This horse is my great great grand father’s horse, it is very special, it can walk on the wall, it will live for a million years, and I only need my bow and arrow to shoot the guard’s twenty heads from the top of the hole. And use my sword that my great great grand father used to kill the zombies. Because other sword can’t.  And I will ride the horse to the bottom of the hole with your blood sweat. I will bring your son back. But you and the queen will be blind for 10 years. Good thing, you can live 20 years more.

King and Queen looked at each other, with great hope. “ Yes, yes, we can even exchange for our life if my son is back. “

       The hunter bit the king and queen goodbye, and rode the horse towards the death gorge. 

Hunter’s Journey

The hunter does not want disappoint the king and the queen. Yet he knows he may not successfully defeat the all the enemies and make his way home.

He went into the death gorge. There are only dead trees everywhere; there is not even a bug around. Then though the fog, he saw a huge shadow, he took out his sword, ready to defeat. Ah -------there was a huge hand, lifted the hunter, the hunter did not even open his eye, and cut the hand off like a light. Then he was not aware there are lots of Zombies coming his way. He got on his horse, and blood sweat rode so fast the Zombie cannot catch up.

He got to the edge of the hole, and looked down, he backed down nine feet, he hesitated, then he gathered all the courage, then he go back to the edge of the hole, his eye is so good, he aimed at the guard, shoot the first arrow, then the guard screamed with pain, the sound echoed all over the valley, then he shot the next 18 arrows, suddenly, a huge hand grab him, the last arrow fell off, no---- the hunter shouted, but the horse kicked the arrow, and the arrow went into the last head of the guard. The Zombie throws the Hunter into the hole. The hunter lay quietly on the bottom of the hole, the horse tear’s coming down from his cheek, and he licked the face of the hunter, the hunter’s eyes opened, then they saw the boy, the son of the king, DRAPHOENIX.

Ten years later…

The King and the queen are able to see their son again, and their son has grown into a handsome man, just like a king. The death gorge has another name now, called Birth Lake; the hole is now a beautiful lake with fishes swimming happily. And all over gorge are beautiful flowers and green trees.

       The hunter just needed a farm and a nice stone house, and Draphoenix always visits him and learn hunting from him, because he is the bravest hunter in the kingdom.
